This year’s Burning Man started with heavy rain and unexpected gate closure. Black Rock City denizens experienced thunderstorms and a fatal accident, the first one since many years ago: 29 year old woman was run over by a bus.
Burning Man is not just candies and pure fun. Difficult conditions and too much things happening there make the event emotionally demanding. But finally, whatever happens during Burning Man makes us better, simply because Burning Man is just like life – in the end there is nothing more than shake off the Playa dust and start looking at the world from the new perspective. Eventually you will end up just with a big smile and a countdown for the next year’s Burn.

Tegoroczna edycja festiwalu, która rozpoczęła się ulewnym deszczem i zaskakującym zamknięciem bram, dobiegła końca. Szalały błyskawice i niestety doszło też do pierwszego od wielu lat wypadku śmiertelnego: 29-letnia kobieta wpadła pod koła rozpędzonego autobusu.
Burning Man to nie tylko przyjemnie spędzony czas. Ciężkie warunki i nadmiar wrażeń sprawiają, że często festiwal jest emocjonalnie wymagającym wydarzeniem. Wszystko co się tam dzieje ostatecznie jednak wzbogaca nas jako ludzi. Bo Burning Man jest jak życie, po dołku nie pozostaje nic innego otrzepanie się z pustynnego pyłu i spojrzenie na świat przez pryzmat nowych doświadczeń. Gdzieś tam w końcu pojawia się wielki uśmiech na ustach i odliczanie do następnego razu.
W sieci zaczynają się pojawiać pierwsze fotoreportaże z wydarzenia, natomiast pod tym adresem obejrzycie te bardziej interesujące instalacje artystyczne.
